The Transmission Service Technician is responsible for setting goals for personal service improvement and monitor progress against customer satisfaction index numbers and production numbers as provided by the Service Manager. Compensation: The Ford Transmission Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of a flag rate between $32.00- $118.00 based on experience. the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation and may also pay a production without any fixed upper limit. Additionally, this position may also pay a retention bonus of $1.75 per every booked hour.Benefits:

Transmission Technician Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical issues, recommended and safety-oriented, and fix them correctly the first time
- Disassemble, diagnose and repair vehicle transmission
- Cleaning and inspection of all parts
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
- Service transmissions, air-conditioning, engine mounts, timing belts, and more
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Deliver guests' cars every time, on time, as promised
- Take detailed notes during and post-inspection
- Keep workstation clean at all times
- Create and maintain loyal service guest relationships
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience as a transmission technician
- Factory Certified preferred
- Experience in performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair service on various vehicle makes and models.
- Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals

- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
