Located in Vernon, Connecticut, this role involves assisting customers through their vehicle purchase process using effective communication and sales skills. You will interact with customers remotely via phone, email, text, and internet. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, results-driven, and eager to continuously learn and improve.Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual Income: $45,000 to $65,000+ based on your performance (base pay plus commission)
- Pay Schedule: Hourly pay, paid bi-weekly; commission paid monthly
- Benefits: Competitive benefits package including health insurance, 401k plan, and employee discounts on vehicle purchases and servicing
- Work Hours: 40-hour work week, including nights until 6 pm, every Saturday, rotational Sundays, and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, text, and internet
- Utilize knowledge of Suburban Subaru's products and services to guide customers in their vehicle purchase
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance their satisfaction and loyalty
- Conduct follow-up calls or emails to potential customers to promote our sales and services
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by the dealership
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Continuously update knowledge of Suburban Subaru's products, promotions, and sales techniques
- Create a welcoming environment for customers
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure overall dealership success and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Advanced computer skills and experience with various communication technologies
- Willingness to adapt to changing processes and continuously learn
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Capability to work remotely when required
