Location: Des Moines,IA, USA
Under the direct supervision of the Service Manager, is responsible for general preventative maintenance on customer and fleet vehicles. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards and policies of Willis Auto Campus.
Essential Functions
* Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, performing tune-ups, checking fluid levels and rotating tires; replace or repair worn parts, including brake pads and wheel bearings using common hand tools.
* Disassemble and reassemble parts
* Complete all associated records and reports timely and accurately
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary training program preferred
* ASE certification preferred
* 1 Year customer-service experience required
* Valid driver's license and ability to be insured
* Working knowledge of proper use of hand tools
* Intermediate customer-service skills
* Ability to demonstrate above-average mechanical and troubleshooting skills
