Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Automotive Maintenance Group Lead. • Compensation (Range): / hour $38-47
• Read and react to the manufacturing daily plan in the momen
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• The ability to manage change and navigate ambiguity
• Drive accountability through people and processes which may require difficult conversations in a unionized environment
• Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and work effectively with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrate a high analytical ability to solve complex problems
• Conduct appropriate checks and tests, and communicate evaluation of results
• Recommends solutions to problems
• Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions
• Meets schedule and quality requirements
• Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
• Implements divisional and corporate policies and safety and good housekeeping practices
• Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group
• Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment
• Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project
• Has knowledge and ability to implement principles
• Preferred Work Schedule:Monday- Sunday
• 1st shift 6am-2:30pm
• 2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm
• 3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:30am.

Job Requirements

• Candidate needs union experience. Manufacturing experience is ideal. Someone who has electrical, controls experience will translate well in paint shop for the site. Also, that ran pipe fitter crew will be fine.
• High School Diploma or GED is required. Ideally if someone has engineering degree will fit for this role
• 5 to 10 years of like industry experience! Balance being in controls and being in supervisor position is ideal.
• Willing to look at someone with more years of experience and no degree.
• Candidate needs to be flexible and working weekends! The candidate can work every weekend if they want to, but expectation will be working every other weekend. It is a rotating shift. They will stay on the shift for roughly a year per manager
