Responsibilities:
- Perform all lubrication services.
- Perform thorough check of customer's car (i.e., battery, lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventative maintenance to Service Advisor.
- Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
- Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles.
- Check air pressure of tires.
- Replace oil and air filters.
- Change batteries, bulbs, tire rotations.
- Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs that may be needed.
- Ensure customer cars are kept clean.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on automotive repair experience.
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Pay Incentives
- The Service Porter has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $20.00. The position may also pay a bonus compensation which is based on the value or number of closed sales achieved from $0.00 to $250 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 to $250(if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
