Automotive Repair Parts Manager

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Parts Manager who is energetic, upbeat and has a positive attitude.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
* Receiving parts for vehicles that are in the process
* Entering parts information into work orders
* Managing in house parts inventory
* Initiating and documenting parts and core returns
* Initiating and following up on warranty claims with vendors
* Move vehicles from intake spots to stage for the next step in the process
* Perform quality control on repair orders
* Shuttle guests
* Various other administrative tasks and light janitorial duties as required
* Potential to move into a Service Writer if desired
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Must have a valid driver's license.
* Strong attention to detail and organization skills required.
* Adequate typing skills required.
* Proficient phone skills necessary.
* Driving record must be acceptable to our insurance carrier.
* Prior computer and customer service experience required.
* High school education is a plus.
* Good communication skills and a desire and ability to work with the public.
* Previous experience as a counter person at an auto parts store is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
* Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
* Efficiently navigate a computer.
* Physically capable to assist delivering parts and move vehicles
