Apple Autos is seeking an experienced and dynamic Automotive Service Lane Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to lead a team and oversee our service lane operations. The Automotive Service Lane Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the service lane, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining efficient and profitable operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of automotive systems, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and manage the service lane team, including hiring, training, and supervising advisors and support staff.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling of work shifts and proper staffing levels to meet service demand.
  • Interact with customers to understand their service needs, provide estimates, and explain repair details.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Manage the workflow and ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
  • Maintain accurate service records and manage documentation processes.
  • Set pricing for service and repairs and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet financial goals.
  • Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive service management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, repair techniques, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to manage budgets, set pricing, and monitor financial performance.
  • Proficiency in using service management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regularly required to:
    • Sit, stand and walk
    • Use hands and arms to handle, feel, or reach
    • Speak and hear
    • Use close vision abilities
    • Operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license
  • Occasionally, required to:
    • Lift or move up to 50 lbs
    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
