Neil Huffman Automotive is seeking a Service Manager to be in charge of our Nissan of Frankfort location. The Service Manager is responsible for running an efficient and profitable service department. S/he will operate the department at maximum production, controlling cost, building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relationships, setting and obtaining sales and profit objectives, and maintaining service records.JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: 1) Develop sales and gross profits.2) Establish programs to develop a strong and dedicated organization, which promotes high employee morale.3) React in a timely manner to all situations.4) Recognize, develop, and motivate staff to their fullest potential.5) Maintain safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and EPA standards.6) Control cost and maximize profits. (i.e. fix it right the first time. )7) Monitor performance of service advisors and technicians to ensure maximum productivity and a fair workload.8) Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.9) Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all service department staff.10) Maintain neat and professional appearance of person and work area.11) All other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.SPECIAL SKILLS:1) 3 - 5 years prior auto service experience.2) Excellent communication and people skills.3) Maintain good driving record.4) Detail oriented.5) Computer literate.6) Mechanically inclined.7) Familiarity with manufacturer's warranty process.Equal Opportunity Employer
