Position Summary
We are hiring an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive and light truck systems, including engines, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and more. This role requires proficiency in mechanical and preventive maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, powertrains, HVAC, brakes, and suspension systems.
* Conduct preventive maintenance services and warranty repairs.
* Ensure a clean workspace and adhere to safety guidelines.
* Perform test drives and routine maintenance (e.g., oil changes, battery checks).
* Inspect and recondition trade-ins; prepare new vehicles for delivery.
Qualifications
* Valid driver's license, PA Safety Inspection, and PA Emissions licenses.
* Experience in automotive repair (diesel experience preferred).
* Vocational/Technical certification a plus.
* Proficient in shop tools and basic computer skills for Dealer Management Systems.
