We are looking to add a couple full-time Commercial Tire Technicians to our team.

General Description:
Repair and replace commercial and large equipment tires, perform fleet checks, and perform minor service and repairs on commercial customer vehicles.
Duties Include:
For Tires: remove, install, rotate, balance, and perform flat repairs on commercial and large equipment tires (in shop or at customer location)
For Retreads: prepare retreads (discuss tread with customer, prepare work order, put in staging area, load in truck), unload treads (unload from truck and stack in warehouse area)
Equipment: raise and lower vehicles safely with hydraulic or floor jacks, safely operate all shop machinery, operate and maintain diagnostic equipment
Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks
Perform all applicable tasks within company's time standards

Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
Must have a valid driver's license; driving record must meet company's insurance requirements
Position requires continuous standing, bending, lifting and ability to lift up to 50+ pounds.
The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
Team- Player: Works well as a member of a group.
Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
Must pass a pre-employment background check/drug screen

Physical Demands / Work Environment
Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting.
Lifting: frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high

Read ticket and perform work listed; write confirmation and recommendation
Environment: Work in environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season.

Sense of sound (Alarms, horns and motorized equipment)
PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, safety harnesses, steel reinforced footwear)
