As an Automotive Technician in (City, State) specializing in light and medium-duty fleet vehicles, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety, satisfaction, and excellence of our fleet maintenance services.Compensation: $35 - $40/hour; determined on experience - Paid weekly, every Friday!Shift: Sunday - Thursday 7:00pm - 3:30amThe benefits of belonging - what's in it for you?* Competitive hourly pay - paid weekly, every Friday* Full benefits within 30 days* Medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, life insurance, disability insurance* 401(k) program* Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time* Commitment to your safety through boot and prescription safety glasses reimbursement* Career and learning development with an extensive training program through our Amerit University* Employee referral program, up to $1,000 bonus* ASE certification program with fee reimbursement and bonus* Employee recognition platform that includes opportunities to redeem points for merchandise* Employee assistance program (EAP)* 24/7 nurse triage line* Employee discounts on cell phone service and entertainment tickets* Employee resource groups (ERGs) that foster inclusion* Wellness and fitness program through our providers* Laptop and/or cellphone providedWhat the Auto Service Technician role looks like:* Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer* Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light and medium duty vehicles* Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required* Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures* Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles* Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance* Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicles* Maintain general upkeep and maintenance of Mobile Service Truck* Respond to off-site client requests as needed* Interact with clients through both email and phone as necessary* Perform other duties as requiredWhat our ideal candidate looks like:* At least 5 years' experience performing vehicle maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school* Must have valid Driver's License* CMV operation above 10K requiring medical certification* Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email* Ability to work without direct supervision* Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers,* supervisors, etc.)* Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly* Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.Work Conditions:* Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.* Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.* Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants* Ability to move and position heavy objects* Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles* Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.Are you ready to advance your career as an Automotive Technician with Amerit Fleet Solutions?
