Automotive Technologies TeacherBeginning 9/2/24 - Questar III BOCES announces a full-time probationary position for a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Automotive Technologies Teacher located at our Robert H. Gibson Technical School in Troy, NY. Utilizing state-of-the art professional tools and computer systems, students learn automotive repair and maintenance skills. This is a two-year program based on the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation (NATEF) model for Maintenance and Light Repair. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified, this program is designed to graduate entry-level technicians with a broad skill set, a solid foundation in electrical/electronics, and a general understanding of all automotive systems.Candidates with experience in the auto industry are encouraged to apply. Candidates must possess or be willing to pursue a NYS teaching certification through the Transitional Certification process in Vehicle Mechanical Repair.
