Description:
The Automotive Title Clerk is responsible for processing the sale, transfer and registration of motor vehicle titles. Thorough, accurate and timely data entry is critical. Typical duties will include the following:
- Issue and process titles for new and used vehicles utilizing CVR and ATC
- Submit vehicle sales tax payments
- Record and maintain vehicle, title, and lien information
- Maintain compliance with state agencies
- Verify the accuracy of titles and other documents related to vehicle ownership
- Assist customers with title and registration-related questions.
- Assist with additional accounting tasks as necessary
Requirements:
- Knowledge of state vehicle titling laws
- Familiarity with title processing software
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
