We're Hiring: Automotive Training Specialist

Location: Atlanta, GA

Rate Range: $25/hour to $30.55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Are you an expert in automotive technology with a passion for teaching? We're looking for a skilled Automotive Training Specialist to facilitate technical, product knowledge, and skills-based training for technicians and shop foremen in a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on technical training, including product certifications and tailored programs.
  • Maintain and prepare vehicles, tools, and resources for training sessions.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to meet dealership training needs.
  • Stay ahead of automotive trends to provide cutting-edge learning experiences.
  • Manage training facilities, fleet vehicles, and tools for optimal functionality.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of technical automotive experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Certification and/or hands-on experience with brands like Audi, Porsche, or other German manufacturers.
  • Teaching Skills: Experience facilitating technical training or coaching in a vocational program or dealership environment.
  • Knowledgeable: Strong understanding of adult learning theory, process improvement principles, and dealership operations.
  • Self-Starter: Highly organized, self-motivated, and a continuous learner of automotive technology.

Top 5 Skills Needed:

  • Hands-on expertise with German automotive brands.
  • Strong instructional and coaching abilities for technical topics.
  • Experience delivering engaging, hands-on training sessions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team without direct supervision.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 15%, including international trips).
  • Required Skills:

    • Excellent presentation, listening, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Physical ability to perform technical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing, and bending for extended periods.

    Bonus: Familiarity with dealership processes, product launches, and maintaining the brand's profile during training.
