Benefits Available!Weekly Pay! $27.00/HourJob PurposeThe incumbent must have the ability to handle maintenance by performing work such as operating,repairing/rebuilding, maintaining, troubleshooting, and adjusting various type of machinery, equipment,and physical structures and related systems of the plant under moderate supervisionBasic design andfabrication skills are also requiredMust have required tools on the job and be skilled in several trades,including all shop equipment, as well as maintain records and reports as requiredThe incumbent shallexercise good judgement in regard to quality, safety, and the security of the plant facilities, as well asmaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environmentMust have good interpersonal skills and effectivecommunication skills, both orally and writtenAs a maintenance employee, the incumbent will berequired to work in all areas of the facility, indoors & outdoors, under adverse conditionsTheenvironment ranges from below 0 F to above 100 F, wet humid, confined space, and unique situations.In addition, the incumbent must be able to lift 50 pounds, be agile for confined space work and be ableto climb ladders.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesGENERAL REQUIREMENTS:Maintain all equipment and systems in the assigned area of responsibility to maximizeuptime.Work with production to ensure all quality standards are met.Work with production to ensure expected production volumes are met.Ensure a safe, sanitary work environment at all times.Minimize/eliminate wasteful uses of energy/utilities.Plan work assignments.Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.All Maintenance Technician III requirementsFollow Safety Guidelines in accordance withSafe Practices and Job Safety AnalysisParticipates in the Work Safe Process.Responsible for adhering to FSQ guidelines, and supporting the overall QRMP process.ELECTRICAL/TECHNICAL SKILL BASE REQUIREMENTS:Fully understand the plant electrical distributions system and be able to troubleshootaccordingly.Have working knowledge of all PLC systems and be able to troubleshoot accordingly.Ability to make program changes to PLC systems.Identify and implement P.Mprocedures for plant electrical distribution system – allcomponents.All electrical / technical skill base requirements of Maintenance Technician III.All mechanical skill base requirements of Maintenance Technician III.MECHANICAL SKILL BASE REQUIREMENTS:Perform moderate fabrication and machining.Perform moderate welding.Perform equipment re-builds.Thorough understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Thorough understanding of mechanical systems.Basic understanding of refrigeration systems.All mechanical skill base requirements of Maintenance Technician IIIAll electrical / technical skill base requirements of Maintenance Technician III.Expected Experience & Required SkillsTQM philosophyPerforming daily inspections of all assigned equipment and systemsPerforming preventative maintenance procedures on all assigned equipment and systemsCompletion of assigned work ordersPerforming and completing safety inspectionsPerforming and completing sanitation inspectionsMonitoring of all utilitiesElimination of all foreign material sourcesElimination of all stagnant product/product lossRegular and accurate record keepingProficient use of the MP2 (PM) systemCommunication with maintenance supervisorCommunication and cooperation with this and all other departmentsDetermination and ordering of necessary spare parts (MRO system)Initiation of cost / quality improvements on a regular basisCompletion of any other tasks assigned by ManagementWork Environment & ScheduleThis position is considered a Manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipmentAdditionally this role requires you to work 40+ hours a week with overtime if needed.
