Job Description:
Job DescriptionThe AV Lead shall be responsible for working with sales and management teams in leading projects, and servicing clients, in all aspects of Audio Visual, Structured Cabling, Network, Equipment Configuration, and project coordination for a successful project execution and closeout.Specific responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:1. Project Lead, Management, and Coordination:a. Work with Sales and Management Team for review of and hand-off to Operations for execution of the project.b. In coordination with the management team, review of project equipment, materials, and schedule.c. Organize and maintain Project's Construction Documentsd. In coordination with Project Engineer, utilize Trello to organize work scopes and schedule with field, subcontractors, clients, and office staff.e. Manage subcontractors, if necessary and if required, for execution of projects.f. Install and lead AV Projects as required, and workload permits. Self-Perform projects will be reviewed and agreed with Management to allow employee and company a successful execution of the project.g. Utilize Trello to organize work scopes and schedule with field, subcontractors, if necessary and if required, for executive of projects.h. Attend Meetings, in person or virtually, as required and prepare meeting minutes. Minutes - If requiredi. Stay in contact with field and other office staff with computer and phone devices to insure proper job communication and execution. Communication shall be done by setting up, utilizing, and coordinating virtual meetings for clients and staff as required.j. Coordinate and work with Labor Field Superintendent for labor scheduling and manpower resources. Field Scheduler/Coordinatork. Lead less experienced field staff to meet expectations and requirements for equipment installation.2. Project Close Out:a. In coordination with the Project Engineer, solicit all Operation and Maintenance manuals for all equipment furnished on Project.b. Acquire all test reports and work through resolution with Project Engineers, Field Staff, and Clientsc. In coordination with the Project Engineer , collect and organize all as-built documents, including test reports (Both electronically and on paper)Requirementsa. Lift, move, receive, and package equipment, laptops, computers, printers, network devices, camera system components, access control components up to 25 lbs. lifting and 50 lbs. pushing or rollingb. Actively work with the Capricorn Team to learn and understand other business lines of access control, cameras, structured network cabling.c. Employee will be required to travel for projects. Travel will be scheduled with respect to family commitments whenever possible. Travel will be scheduled with employee with as much notice as possible.d. Travel time will fluctuate, so it is not possible to provide a hard timeline for monthly commitments. Some months will be zero to minimal, some months will require more. It should be expected that travel will not exceed 14 days per month at any time.e. All travel will be reviewed with employee and management to insure it is the best use of time, necessary for a successful project, and productive 4. Certifications in Lightware, Liberty, Tesira, CTS.
