**Position Overview**
We are seeking a Florida-based Aviation Facilities Lead to join our multi-disciplinary team. We are seeking an entrepreneurial-spirited, highly motivated, proactive, and passionate individual with strong client relationships, project management, technical and creative skills to expand our national practice and lead the delivery of projects. This is a seller-doer role, with the purpose of expanding our national Aviation team of experts and help us deliver the future of Aviation Facilities. Our team of full-service in-house architecture, engineering design, and construction professionals will support this position.
The job entails several responsibilities. You will be working with the national Aviation Facilities practice leaders to develop an overall vision and strategy. You will also be responsible for leading all phases of aviation facilities projects in Florida and FAA Southern region. This includes projects, ranging in size from support facilities like ARFFs to larger terminal or concourse expansions. You will need to coordinate with other disciplines, primarily within the existing Florida Facilities team, but also in other offices, as well as outside the firm. There is also a possibility that this position will involve personnel management responsibilities and an opportunity to build a team that supports other C&S professional services.
**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
+ 15+ years of related architectural and facility-related design (10+ in Aviation) with project management experience.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Structural, or MEP Engineering preferred
+ Professional licensure is required.
+ Aviation-focused project management and design experience is required. Medium to large projects preferred.
+ Passion to build a team and practice around you.
+ Self-motivated with ability to lead varying-size project teams and multiple projects from concept to construction.
+ Collaborate with national Aviation Team, regional BD team, and other multi-disciplinary groups within C&S.
+ Proven record to bring in new business and manage projects.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage projects with multi-million-dollar design fees.
+ Interest in advancing innovation and technology through project delivery.
+ Ability to succeed in small and large multi-disciplinary team environments.
+ Ability to set deadlines, assign resources, monitor/summarize project progress.
+ Good graphical, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills.
+ Comprehensive understanding of design and construction documents.
+ Willingness to travel is required.
+ Utilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.
+ Communicate incidents, accidents, near misses, potential hazards, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor or the Health and Safety Department as soon as identified.
**Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits**
**$125,000 - $175,000/year***
