Position Details:Title: Aviation Maintenance Site LeadLocation: Orlando, FL (Orlando International Airport - MCO)Shift: Night Shift, typically 9pm to 4am (2100 to 0400), 5 days per weekTravel: 30%, average travel is approximately 1 week per month.Compensation: $65K – $70K annually depending on experience and qualificationsPosition Description:As the Aviation Maintenance Lead you will be responsible for cleaning jet engines with our patented foam technology and leading a team of 2-4 technicians. This role is physically demanding and can require lifting up to 50 lbs. We are looking for someone who can perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on company equipment, enjoys working outdoors, and is focused on following safety/compliance processes while identifying ways to innovate and provide value to our customers. In this position, you will frequently drive a vehicle under DOT regulations, work with heavy equipment, and manage (environmentally safe) fluid waste streams. You will also be responsible for tracking and inputting data into manual and digital forms as well as maintaining records of performance.Managing personnel schedules and workload to meet customer requirementsCollaborating with coworkers and management on policies and proceduresInstalling & removing wash equipment on jet enginesPreparing company equipment for operations (inspecting & servicing equipment, etc.)Operating equipment safely and identifying anomaliesCollecting waste and properly disposing of the waste streamCollecting on-site data & inputting data into formsCoordinating schedules for aircraft availabilityProactively and effectively communicating with customers and internally with other teammates and leadershipPerform preventative and repair maintenance on mechanical equipmentMaintaining an extremely professional attitude, communication style, appearance and overall service deliveryRequirements:7+ years of military or commercial experience in mechanical industry (aviation experience preferred)2 years leadership position (preferred)Initiative, drive and autonomyValid driver's licenseAbility to pass a DOT physicalAbility to pass and maintain a clear background and frequent/random drug testsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. regularlyProven excellence in following and maintaining safety precautions while working around large commercial equipmentProven experience in innovating processes to increase revenue, delivery times and/or an enhance customer experience
