Title - Aviation Maintenance Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking highly experienced A&P Mechanics to join our aviation maintenance team This position focuses on performing critical inspections, repairs, and maintenance on aircraft and ground support equipment (GSE). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise, a commitment to safety, and a track record of delivering high-quality maintenance work in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on aircraft systems, including airframe, powerplant, hydraulics, pneumatics, landing gear, and fuel systems.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance procedures on heavy-duty GSE machinery to support ground operations.
- Use technical manuals, schematics, and precision diagnostic tools to ensure all work meets strict aviation quality standards.
- Document all maintenance tasks accurately using the appropriate tools and software.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet maintenance deadlines and operational schedules.
Qualifications:
- Valid FAA A&P License (Airframe and Powerplant) is required.
- 5+ years of experience in aviation maintenance, particularly on commercial or cargo aircraft.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, heavy equipment, and GSE.
- Proven experience with complex troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency with aviation tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, to support operational requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience working in cargo operations or high-paced aviation environments.
- Expertise with heavy-duty GSE machinery repairs and electric systems.
- Additional certifications in HV systems or advanced diagnostics.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
