Job Description:
Under the direction of the Regional Manager the Banking Center Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing branch activity including expanding existing customer base, operational efficiency, sales and service culture and community relations activities.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Coaching
* Hire, coach, retain and motivate to promote success of branch team.
* Manage the performance of the branch.
* Develop team members by observing interactions and providing feedback to improve individual skill sets.
Customer Experience
* Responsible for the overall performance of the branch and consistent delivery of service excellence.
* Provide support for the current portfolio of customers/accounts.
* Educate and engage customers on additional financial solutions.
* Promote and drive high customer service standards to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
Business Development / Market Management
* Participate in branch functions and community activities to promote organization
* Grow small business account relationships and lending through consistent activities.
* Grow existing Bank at Work portfolio and expand the program via onboarding of new companies.
Profitable Relationships
* Execute routines to create accountability.
* Open new accounts and perform transactions as needed.
* Acquire low cost core relationships in consumer and business categories.
* Achieve success in all goal categories including Home Equity, Solutions and Deposit Growth.
* Monitor, understand, and manage, the drivers of profitability including cost of funds, fee retention, attrition, and staff productivity to maximize efficiencies.
Branch Operations
* Ensure compliance of all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Follow proper security procedures for opening and closing of the branch. Train and enforce all branch security procedures. Respond to after-hours alarm calls.
* Responsible for overall Branch Operations including maintaining a passing score on the Branch Control Inspection reviews that are performed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* 8-12 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a leadership role that included coaching and training of colleagues.
* Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience.
* Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication skills, in person and over the phone.
* Ability to tailor features and benefits of solutions to customers with varying financial needs.
* Strong ability to educate and connect customers to alternative channels by leveraging technology.
* Ability to adapt quickly to change.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
