Our client, a regional bank, is currently looking to expand their Enterprise Risk division with as AVP Risk Manager responsible for their payments and credit card business line.

This is a great opportunity to lead a function (including managing an analyst and responsible for building out the team longterm) responsible for mitigate credit risk for the banks credit card portfolio, developing and implementing risk management strategies, ensuring compliance, and providing insights for optimal risk and return.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement credit risk management strategies.
• Create and update risk policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, including stress testing.
• Analyze portfolio performance and trends.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and present risk reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Utilize advanced analytics and technology.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor s in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field; Master s or certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) preferred.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience.

This role pays $110,000 - $130,000 Base.
