The AVP, Workforce Analytics & HRIS is a key strategic role responsible for leading and maintaining the development, implementation, and advancement of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Workforce Analytics, overseeing the HRIS, Payroll, Timekeeping, and Data Analytics teams. With a strong emphasis on PeopleSoft modules such as Core HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll USA, Talent Management modules (e-Performance, Succession & Career Planning, and Enterprise Learning Management), and UKG Kronos, this role will provide expert functional and technical guidance in these critical areas.
In this role, responsibilities include:
Strategic Communication: Keep the team aligned with organizational and departmental priorities, especially regarding developments in Core HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll USA, Talent Management modules, and UKG Kronos.Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced analytical skills to provide informed recommendations, with a focus on quality, cost efficiency, and cross-departmental impact.Technical Collaboration: Work closely with HR leadership to assess technical needs, recommending cutting-edge HRIS and Workforce Analytics solutions tailored to meet evolving organizational goals.Project Leadership: Direct and manage timely responses to HRIS and Workforce Analytics initiatives, ensuring adherence to deadlines while delivering comprehensive feedback on system enhancements and technical improvements.Problem-Solving: Address complex HRMS and Workforce Analytics issues, performing scheduled activities and providing solutions or alternatives to meet technical requirements effectively.Team Development and Management: Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of HRIS and Workforce Analytics staff, offering ongoing technical guidance, initiating disciplinary actions when necessary, and managing performance evaluations, promotions, and compensation adjustments.Technical Issue Resolution: Coordinate with HR staff, MIS, or external vendors to promptly resolve complex technical issues in HRIS and Workforce Analytics, ensuring system reliability and user satisfaction.Technical Training and Support: Lead technical training sessions and provide support to HR personnel on PeopleSoft queries, Workforce Analytics, and system functionality.Leadership in UAT: Offer technical leadership for user acceptance testing (UAT) of PeopleSoft patches and upgrades, as well as HR-specific functionalities, including data extraction for test scripts and system integration testing.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Data Science, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred).
- At least 10 years of related technical experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience implementing HCM systems.
- Demonstrated experience with HCM, HR, and advanced analytics platforms.
- Proven ability to work with key stakeholders to develop multi-year HR technology and analytics strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft, including modules such as Core HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll USA, Talent Management, as well as PS Query, Power BI, and data management technologies.
- At least 5 years of advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or R programming.
- Proficiency with Kronos, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), BI Publishing, and data lake technologies.
