What you'll do:

The Awake Night Staff Supervisor works as a non-direct care staff member. Primarily responsible for the supervision of all Awake Night Staff while ensuring the safety and security of the Rite of Passage program during the night watch hours. The Awake Night Staff Supervisor reports to the Shift Supervisor, Director of Group Living and/or Program Director. Directly supervises Awake Night staff.

Shift Available: Sunday - Wednesday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM

In this role, you will:

+ Provide operational and logistical management of Awake Night operations to ensure the safety, health and welfare of staff and students.

+ Maintain a cost effective schedule for Awake Night staff and ensures adequate coverage for units and control desk.

+ Ensure site safety and security by enforcing staff alertness and awareness.

+ Complete a nightly facility check, document maintenance issues and report concerns to the supervisor.

+ Be responsible for hiring, evaluations, commendations, reprimands and dismissals regarding supervised staff.

+ Review and approve time and attendance for supervised staff.

+ Assist with developing supervised staff by conducting training and action plans in specific job functions.

To be considered, you should:

+ Have at least 60 hours of college education, but a BA/BS degree is preferred.

+ Have at least four years of security-related experience and at least two years of supervisory experience.

+ Have a desire to work with troubled teens.

+ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
