AWS DevOps Engineer 100% Remote

Well branded industry leading IT Services Firm is seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Strong Terraform Development skills using AWS services

Git /Github expert with branching expertise

Very good knowledge about Docker/Kubernetes CI/CD pipeline build.

Strong Python developer

What you will do:

  • Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS cloud platform.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment and release management. (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture and performance on AWS.
  • Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ECS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Monitor system health and performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and network access control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and propose innovative solutions.

What gets you the job:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in DevOps roles, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services and infrastructure components.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with VPC, VPN, and subnets.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security controls on AWS.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • AWS certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred).
