Axient is seeking an Acquisition Program Specialist - Journeyman to support our team at Eglin AFB, FL.
- Assist program managers in meeting guidance in FAR, DoD 5000.2 and other applicable documents and regulations, systems, and guides.
- Defining, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the execution of the Configuration Management and Data Management process.
- Serve as the primary source for information and analysis on Data Management (DM) and Configuration Management (CM) secondary, including managing baselines and managing changes to baselines.
- Define, implement, monitor and review the execution of the CM/DM process.
- Maintain data quality, integrity and security of the CM/DM database, and assist in the management, maintenance and automation of CM/DM tools.
- Monitor CM/DM performance of programs to ensure department policy and procedures and regulatory requirements are met and that configuration and processing timeliness and accuracy requirements are achieved.
- Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
- Execute process controls and ensures staff comply with process and data standards.
- Perform various administrative duties as needed to support the Systems Engineering IPT, such as scheduling meetings, coordinating special projects, submitting reports, and creating procedures and manuals for essential functions.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain or have an active and transferrable DoD SECRET security clearance with current investigation at the required level.
- Associates Degree + 10 years Recent Experience
- Or, Bachelor's IRD + 5 yrs Recent Experience
- Or, Master's IRD + 2 yrs Recent Experience is required.
Desired Experience
- 1 year CM/DM experience of CMMI certification desired.
- Knowledge of SharePoint or PLM Systems TeamCenter, and WindChill, preferred.
