Job Role: Azure Architect Location: Hybrid (NJ / NY - Requires to be in office 2 days per week in NYC) Duration: Long termResponsibilities: •Managing and owning all aspects of technical development and delivery •Understanding requirements and writing technical architecture documents •Ensuring the code reviews and development best practices / processes to be followed •Planning end-to-end technical scope of the project and customer engagement areas, including planning sprint and deliveries •Estimating efforts, identifying risks, and providing technical support whenever needed •Demonstrating the ability to multitask and re-prioritizing responsibilities based on dynamic requirements •Leading and mentoring small-sized teamsYou will specialize in the technical areas of expertise as described below: •Work closely with the business, client architects and developers to drive the design and development of high-quality technical solution deployments (incl. production, test and dev environments). • Hands on development and peer reviews as required, exercising troubleshooting and methodical diagnostic skills to resolve issues. •Participation in component or architectural or solution design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and recommendations •Experience in representation on Project Management teams and occasional Steering Boards will be a plus. Technical Experience •Relevant bachelor's or master's degree •Minimum 5 years of previous experience working with Microsoft Azure •Relevant certifications •Strong experience in: o Azure Core Platform: Compute (IAAS & PAAS), Storage and Networking o Microservice based implementations using Azure native services o Experience with APIM, WAF, Front door and strong understanding of networking services o Identity and Authentication Patterns (MFA) with Azure AD, Okta or any other o Azure HA/DR, scaling, and backup solutions o Azure Logging and monitoring architecture o Docker Experience, such as writing Dockerfiles, understanding Docker Networking and Service Discovery o Containerization orchestration, specifically, AKS and Kubernetes with HELM Charts o Experience with Logic Apps, APIM for at least one engagement •Additional experience/knowledge with: o General automation, Azure Automation, Azure CLI, PowerShell scripting o Azure DevOps, including Automation/IaC •Familiarity with: - Web technologies including .Net and .Net core •Knowledge of: - Application modernization experience - SQL databases including data modeling
