Come join us Job Description: [MULTIPLE POSITIONS]: Avanade Inc. seeks Azure Data Engineers in Florham Park, NJ to deliver analytics and business intelligence solutions to our clients. In this role, you will: design and set-up projects that bring together information from a variety of sources to enable analysis and decision-making; utilize personal knowledge to plan and deliver data warehouse and storage; take part in designing and running bespoke data services to individual projects; design, develop, adapt, and maintain data warehouse architecture and relational databases to support data mining; customize storage and extraction, meta-data, and information repositories; create and use effective metrics and monitoring processes; monitor key performance indicators to determine where current operations can be improved and identify the causes of any problems; create the building blocks for transforming enterprise data solutions; design and build modern data pipelines, data streams, and data services; and create and maintain report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, and scanned reports, as well as other information portals and resources. Periodic travel to client sites (domestic) is expected up to 80% of the time. Must live w/in reasonable commuting distance of Florham Park, NJ. Skills and experiences Basic Qualifications: The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Machine Learning, or closely related field, plus at least seven (7) years of experience as an Azure Data Engineer, or in a similar role in a technology or IT consulting environment. The qualified applicant's experience must include: 7 years of experience performing data engineering, warehousing, publishing and visualization throughout the full data lifecycle; 5 years of experience data profiling, cataloguing and mapping to enable the design and build of technical data flows; 7 years of experience defining ETA architecture and ETL process design; 5 years of experience performing end-to-end implementation of data warehousing analytics solutions built on MS or Azure platforms; 6 years of experience working with Azure; 4 years of experience using DPM specific tooling, including Spark, Python, Databricks, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF); and 5 years of experience with CICD tools, including Azure DevOps, Terraform, and/or Jenkins. #LI-DNI About you Characteristic s that demonstrate success for this role: •Analytical and agile •Collaborative with strong communication skills •Patient, quality-driven problem-solver •Self-motivated •Innovative mindset.
