Position: Azure Data Factory ConsultantExperience: 12 to 15 years Contract: C2C/12 month possible extension Location: Stamford, CT & NYC Day 1 onsite Rate: As per market price •Architectural Design: To satisfy performance and scalability requirements, create thorough architecture blueprints utilizing Azure services, taking into account elements like serverless architecture, microservices, and containerization. •Cooperation and prerequisites Analysis: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to collect and assess comprehensive technical requirements. Work together to define architectural patterns that support corporate goals. •Standards and Guidelines: Create and implement Azure architecture standards and guidelines to guarantee best practices and uniformity throughout projects. To ensure compliance, conduct architecture reviews on a regular basis. •Technical Leadership: Assist development teams with technical decisions by providing direction on architecture selections, code reviews, and troubleshooting intricate problems. Assist younger members of the team in implementing Azure best practices. •Innovation and Industry Trends: Keep up with the latest developments in emerging technologies, Azure updates, and industry trends. Incorporate cutting-edge techniques and innovations into the architectural framework to improve productivity and efficiency. •Security Implementation: Put strong security measures in place, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory, and Key Vault. Create and implement encryption, industry standard compliance, and access controls. •Integration Expertise: Use Azure integration services, such as Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management, to design and implement smooth integrations. Assure effective data flow and communication amongst various components. •DevOps Integration: Use Azure DevOps to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring procedures, and to create end-to-end CI/CD pipelines. Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by utilizing Terraform or ARM templates as tools. •Scripting and Automation: Show that you know how to use scripting languages like Python and PowerShell. Create automation scripts to handle configuration management, resource provisioning, and daily operations. •Problem-solving and Optimization: Use your strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot difficult problems and optimize Azure environments for cost, resource usage, and performance. •Communication Skills: Clearly explain technical ideas to stakeholders who are neither technical nor non-technical. Provide reference material for the architecture and operational procedures in the form of documentation. •Oversee the vendor providing hosting for data warehouses and serve as the main contact for any upgrades pertaining to Azure Synapse and Data Factory. •Excellent automation abilities and the capacity to spearhead efforts to automate procedures-particularly on the Azure platform-are required. •Establish strong security and compliance protocols in Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure to safeguard confidential information and adhere to legal mandates. •Knowledge of Snowflake When designing and implementing Snowflake data warehousing solutions, it is imperative to optimize for scalability, performance, and data governance. •Azure Solutions Architect Certification.
