FIDES is looking for an Azure Databricks Solutions Architect with experience working in the hospital/health system provider space for a contract position.The Azure Databricks Solutions Architect is responsible for collaborating with the client, including various data team stakeholders, to advise on the design of an enterprise data architecture roadmap and develop current and future reference architecture documentation. The primary focus will be on cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure/Fabric), reference architecture, AI platforms (Databricks), and BI capabilities. Responsibilities for this role include:Understanding business objectives and identifying implications to IT as it relates to application architecture and infrastructure.Advising on Microsoft Azure/Fabric and Databricks architecture.Collaborating cross-functionally to define and prioritize requirements for data needed from internal and external sources to support analytics and decision-making.Developing reference architecture and working with stakeholders to garner buy-in of roadmap/timeline.Mapping legacy technologies to the client future state plan.Ensuring that the BI/AI Data Architecture strategy and roadmap is aligned to the business and technology strategies.RequirementsExperience developing reference architectures for healthcare organizations.Experience with Microsoft Azure, Fabric, and Databricks is required.Experience in hospital/health system provider space and with major EHR/EMR (EPIC and Cerner) is required.10+ years of experience with Business Intelligence, data warehouse, ETL, data analytics, and data visualization tools in the healthcare provider space.Experienced with technical program management or delivery management of medium/large enterprise clients spanning high data volume projects.5+ years of experience working with healthcare systems.Knowledgeable about cloud solutions including Microsoft Azure and data science/AI tools and best practices.5+ years of experience in using, architecting, and implementing Business Intelligence (PowerBI and Tableau) and Datalakehouse platforms, Master Data Management, data governance framework, and data integration.Experienced in developing common data model framework.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Strata and Workday.#J-18808-Ljbffr
