Ensure meetings are documented and follow-ups are carried outParticipate in the technical review sessions and develop, document, communicate and enforce a policy for standardizing systems and softwareSet forth technical standards for IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Software Development teamsCollaborate with development teams to design and implement cloud-native applications and microservicesDesign and document cloud architectures, including network, compute, storage, and application layersReview new and existing systems design projects and procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and architectural plansEnsure the security and compliance of cloud environments, including risk assessments and vulnerability management.Lead role in the effort to document the company's existing systems architecture and technology portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives.Model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models.Assist in developing assessments to check infrastructure and systems technical performance, and adherence to standards Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, and 10 years' experience in at least two disciplines such as solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, database management or operations in a multitier environment - or equivalent combination of education and experience6+ years of experience with solution architecture in Microsoft Azure Public CloudReady to think, behave and act in an innovative consulting manner to drive the organization's digital business strategiesAbility to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologiesAble to balance the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term implications of individual decisions and organization goalsSubject matter expert on software development, coding best practices, systems integrations, middleware technologies, and API designBroad knowledge of IT Infrastructure and modern Cloud computing with strong knowledge of security principles and practicesUnderstanding of various operating models such as project-centric and product-centric and different types of agile principles, methodologies and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise levelAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentGood written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with attention to detailExceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skillsHighly self-motivated and directedTeam-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environmentCurrent certification of Azure Solutions Architect ExpertCertifications in Cybersecurity and other areas of Information Technology a plus
