Paragon is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team! This role will support our Innovation Team with the testing and building of prototypes.Responsibilities:Work closely with Engineering on newly designed products to assist in choosing components, assist with developing the assembly process, and provide feedback on test procedures and design characteristics.Assemble Prototypes mixture of SMT and thru hole component circuit board assembly as well as mechanical housing assemblyMinor fabrication drill / tap / cut using hand toolsPerform functional testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and modification of a wide variety of complex electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components.Design, fabricate and implement test set ups to meet testing requirements.Perform failure analysis of various components.Testing and troubleshooting with digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, wave generators and assorted test equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks.Additional duties and tasks assigned by management.Qualifications:Associates Degree preferably in Electronics or equivalent required.3 years of prior experience in a technical technician roleMust have a high attention to detailMust have related hands on technical background and prior testing experience.Military electronics training a plus.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, martial status, pregnancy, genetic information, or other legally protected status.PI3812ae21c7a5-31181-#######2.
