Vander Haag's, Inc. has a current opening for a full time Dismantling Technician in our Truck Salvage Department located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Vander Haag's, Inc., was established in 1939. We are a family-owned business with 11 locations around the Midwest. We specialize in heavy duty truck salvage & the sale of used & rebuilt parts.Compensation: This position pays an hourly base compensation overtime. No weekends or holidays required!Duties/Responsibilities: Working in our shop, each of our techs removes body parts, engine & drivetrain components; inspects parts; and assists with entering parts into our state-of-the-art inventory management system. Occasionally, our techs will also become involved in diagnosis and repair work. We provide on-site training, support, and back-up to help ensure each of our technicians is as successful as possible! Prior mechanical experience is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training and formal classroom training by our in-house ASE Certified Trainer is provided.
