OhioGuidestone is a qualifying Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) for students interested in participating in the Great Minds Fellowship Program. Essential Functions:

If an Intern is providing clinical services to clients, the following functions are essential, in addition to the above:
- Develops a professional relationship with each client. Provides services within your scope and as clinically appropriate. Be available for clinical consultation.
- Maintains ongoing frequent contact with other assigned OhioGuidestone professionals, parents or outside agency professionals assigned to case. Provide minor case management functions if needed.
- Assumes a strong advocacy role for clients and makes recommendations for clinical and support services needed upon discharge.
- Actively participates in treatment conferences and meetings for the clients.
- Completes all paperwork required by the agency within designated time frames.
- Participates in agency and community meetings as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum education is working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or relevant field for the area of internship.
- Trainee status: CT, MFT-T, SWT is required for working with clients in Graduate level Internships.
Qualifications:

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; able to speak effectively with individuals and/or groups of people across multiple forms of communication, such as in-person, phone call, email, etc.
- Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment
- Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and independently work to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required.
- Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records, etc.
- Must be able to access work locations, including agency offices, school based settings, and places in the community including client homes, as necessary. Accessing work sites may include ascending/descending stairs.
- English reading and writing skills required
- Interacts verbally with coworkers and representatives from outside agencies
- Confidentiality required
- Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
- Successfully meet pre-employment drug screen and background requirements.
