Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Back End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. This role requires a strong understanding of various programming languages and frameworks, as well as a commitment to best practices in software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services and APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Implement data storage solutions using SQL databases and ensure data integrity.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
• Utilize frameworks such as Ruby on Rails or .NET to build efficient applications.
• Develop microservices architecture to enhance application modularity.
• Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Back End Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in NodeJS/Typescript databases (both relational and non-relational), GraphQL, Docker, AWS Stack, Redis, and Serverless (Azure experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
• Experience with UNIX environments (Linux, Mac).
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data integration tasks is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Must have a passion for learning new technologies
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently.
• Must live local to Parsippany, NJ
