Position Overview: As a Bread Baker with Ralph Brennan Bakery, you will produce fresh, high-quality breads for restaurants, hotels, cafes, and groceries. This role is ideal for an experienced baker who is dedicated to the craft and values quality and consistency. Responsibilities:
- Produce a range of bread products from scratch, including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking.
- Follow established recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including mixers, proofers, and ovens.
- Ensure bread meets the highest standards for flavor, texture, and appearance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with bakers to meet daily production needs and timelines.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of professional baking experience (artisan or high-volume baking experience preferred).
- Knowledge of dough fermentation, mixing techniques, and baking processes.
- Ability to work early mornings and be punctual and reliable.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and a passion for baking.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Positive attitude, team player, and excellent time-management skills.
- Must be able to start work at 3 am and work on weekends.
