SUMMARY The Niemann Harvest Market Baker is responsible for producing high quality artisan baked goods and gaining product knowledge. The Baker will assist the Bakery Manager in creating a positive store atmosphere for customers and a positive working environment for Associates while fostering the Niemann Harvest Market culture. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction

- Reads and follows recipes
- Produces daily pre ferments for breads
- Produces daily dough and baked goods
- Uses all equipment needed to produce baked goods
- Scales, shapes, and forms bread and rolls
- Proofs, bakes and sells bread and rolls
- Plans next day's production
- Follow all Health Code guidelines
- Follows all store and department policies and procedures
- Follows all safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
- Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training;
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write reports and simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Associates of the organization.
