Requirements QUALIFICATIONSRequired skills and knowledge:
- One year of experience in a bake shop or a baking setting.
- Food handler's permit.
- Must be able to follow instructions and follow food preparation sheets.
- Strong baking, pastry, and decorating skills.
- Training in sanitation laws and procedures.
- Two years of experience in a high-volume setting, or specialty kitchen experience.
- Ability to take initiative and problem solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work productively.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain a Class II gaming license.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Prepare and cook items for baking.
- Maintain a sanitary workstation.
- Bake food in quantities according to persons to be served, and according to established recipes.
- Inspect and taste prepared foods to maintain HACCP standards and sanitation.
- Assist the Sous Chef in developing food lists and ensure that sufficient items are ordered weekly; eliminate or add items to list at direction of the Sous Chef.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
