We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly, sometimes beyond our own expectations.Responsibilities:Prepare and bake menu items, ensuring all products are completed and ready in a timely manner.Create specialty rolls, breads, and pastries as required by the menu or requested by the chef.Consistently follow standardized recipes and specifications to maintain quality and cost efficiency.Produce a variety of baked goods, including specialty breads, pastries, flat cakes, and sweet dough items.Strictly adhere to safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment.Rotate stock, finished goods, and semi-finished products to maintain the highest quality standards.Maintain open communication with the chef regarding ongoing tasks, progress, and required actions.Support the smooth operation of the kitchen by performing additional duties as assigned.Ensure compliance with DO & CO standards for recipes, preparation methods, and product presentation.Continuously update the pastry and bakery selection to reflect evolving client demands.Monitor prepared items for taste, temperature, and presentation to ensure consistent quality.Meet production requirements while minimizing waste and spoilage through careful material management.Ensure no spoiled or contaminated products are used at any stage of the preparation process.Maintain inventory records and oversee ingredient availability for daily production needs.Train and support pastry assistants or helpers in bread and pastry preparation when necessary.Proactively notify the chef of any ingredient shortages or place orders as required.Handle physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs., and accommodate flexible schedules, including overnight and early morning shifts, based on business needs.Qualifications:Minimum of one year of related or equivalent experience in a fast-paced work environment.Initiative-driven and adept at self-organization.Ability to accurately monitor wastage.Proficient in both independent work and collaborative team environments.Demonstrated capability to accomplish assigned tasks promptly and manage through a substantial workload meeting stringent deadlines.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.Must have open availability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.What We Offer:Estimated pay range: $22.00 - $24.00 hourly.Daily Complimentary Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner).An organization dedicated to fostering innovation; in pursuit of cultivating creativity, embracing new ideas and leveraging our impeccable standard for hospitality.Genuine career development opportunities, both nationally and internationally.The chance to collaborate and represent a leading force in the luxury global gourmet entertainment industry.Diversity & Inclusion Statement:We want everyone to feel welcome and respected.
