Any Day Now and Tim Ma is looking for a Full Time Baker/Pastry Chef to join the team. Any Day Now is known for their scallion pancakes and cakes by the slice. Looking for a candidate that will help take the baking department to the next level. This will progress into a Multi-Unit position and the company expands. Job Details:-Oversee the production of scallion pancakes-Oversee dessert program for the restaurant-Create new pastries to offer in the cafe

-Ensures compliance with prescribed standards in the areas of guest relations, labor costs, restaurant safety and sanitation.

-Ensures all company operational procedures for the dining room, service area and kitchen are adhered to.

-Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.

-Assisting Chef in daily operations

-Holding team members accountable

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Experience in baking and pastries. -A passion for food and restaurant operations and a desire to make an impact on customers and team members.

-Has a can-do work ethic and the ability to take initiative on projects.

-Ability to lead and motivate a team.

-Prior management experience. We welcome a new starters -Ability to stand on feet for an extended period of time.

-Strong leadership behaviors, approachability, and a reputation as an unwavering role model.

-Personal characteristics: high-energy, self-motivated, positive attitude, service-oriented, flexible, fun-loving personality, and ethical with a high degree of integrity.
