The thrill of the holidays is quickly approaching our Uncle Giuseppe's Stores. We are actively seeking a SEASONAL Part-Time Bakery Clerk (Back of House)for our Smithtown store. This seasonal position will run from early November to the first week of January 2025 and offers a salary of $21.05/hour. Since this is a Seasonal position, there are no company benefits associated with this temporary job.Our Bakery Clerk (BOH) are responsible for packing out bakery items and traying and baking croissants, muffins, and cookies.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environmentClean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with the NYS Standards as well as QA standardsKeep floors clean and clear of debris and spillsMaintain and properly use all department equipment as requireRotate product to ensure freshnessEnsure accurate signage for the departmentPerform all duties in accordance with Company rules, policies, safety requirements, and security standards and all Local, State and Federal health and civil code regulations.Other duties and functions as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentFlexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
