The thrill of the holidays is quickly approaching our Uncle Giuseppe's Stores. We are actively seeking a SEASONAL Part-Time Bakery Clerk for our Smithtown store. This seasonal position will run from early November to the first week of January 2025 and offers a salary of $21.05/hour. Since this is a Seasonal position, there are no company benefits associated with this temporary job.Our Bakery Clerks create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Bakery Clerks should be friendly, greet and be courteous to customers and work with management and other associates to provide a high level of customer service.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environmentClean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with the NYS Standards as well as QA standardsKeep floors clean and clear of debris and spillsGreet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistanceMaintain and properly use all department equipment as requireRotate product to ensure freshnessEnsure accurate signage for the departmentPrepare trays to Company's and customer's satisfaction.Perform all duties in accordance with Company rules, policies, safety requirements, and security standards and all Local, State and Federal health and civil code regulations.Other duties and functions as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentFlexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
