You'll help handle processing, preparation, packaging, storage, and merchandising of product (i.e. muffins, cakes, etc.); ordering and receiving of product and supplies; fulfilling customer orders and requests; ensuring proper case/shelf and sales floor conditions and stock levels; and selection, training, development, and scheduling of Bakery associates.Job RequirementsSuccessful Bakery Manager candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous bakery experience
- Ability to maintain a friendly and courteous manner and promote sales through excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Night, weekend, and holiday availability
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate oven, mixer, proofer, slicer, and other bakery production equipment; as well as baler/compactor, and computerized scales
