This course includes a lab component and is hybrid, meaning lecture material is online and the lab component is face-to-face.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Associate's degree in Culinary Arts with extensive bakery experience or Associate's degree in Pastry Arts from an accredited college or university or foreign equivalency.5 years of professional bakery experience.5 years of prior teaching or training experience.Candidate must be certified to teach online through OCC Quality Matters before being assigned to this course.Certified ServSafe Food Protection Manager.Preferred Qualifications:B.S. in Pastry Arts from an accredited academic institution or foreign equivalency.Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.Additional Information:Adjunct rate of pay is $1,371 per credit hour (23/24 rate).Anticipated Hours: This course runs 1st 1/2 semester 1/27/25 - 3/19/25.
