Bakery Production Team Player's Mission Effectively carry out Prasek's mission, work with, and carry out the tasks delegated by the Bakery Manager. Personal Qualities - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to, communicate with and understand management, Team Players, and othersEssential Functions - Bake - make dough- Practice good personal hygiene and sanitation procedures- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the bakery (food preparation, storage and assembly)- Perform closing and cleaning procedures as indicated on the Opening/Closing Checklist- Ensure that all equipment, tubs and utensils are properly cleaned, sanitized and stored- Perform all job duties in a safe manner- Operate equipment used in the bakery according to proper procedures and notify Management of needed equipment repairs- Notify the Manager on duty of any unsafe conditions or safety violations- Abide by all company policies and procedures as detailed in the Prasek's Family Smokehouse Team Player Handbook and Operating ManualsRequirementsEducation, Knowledge and Experience - Basic knowledge of technologically based equipment- Ability to understand and use all needed equipment and machinery- Possess an overall knowledge of bakery and value added products, i.e., quality, ingredients, production processes, preparation methods, storage methods and uses- Possess a knowledge of quality baked goods, safety, merchandising and marketing, and sellingPhysical and Other Requirements - Must be 18 years of age or older- Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side-to-side for an extended period of time- Must be able to move safely around equipment and possess dexterity in hands and fingers- As dictated by business and need, must be able to work extended hours and a varying work schedule
