The Lead Baker works closely with our Baking Director to fulfill the day-to-day baking of all wholesale and retail bagel orders.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated team player, with good communication skills who is comfortable leading our wonderful bagel bakers.

Major Responsibilities

Oversee the baking team through daily dough making and bagel rolling.

Assist the Lead Baker with the production schedule and fulfilling all wholesale and retail bagel orders.

Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen in compliance with Department of Agriculture regulations.

Work schedule will include weekends.

Knowledge + Skills

Bagel baking experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate with other baking experience.

Must be organized with attention to detail and have experience operating industrial kitchen equipment.

Physically able to lift 50-pound bags of flour.
