Ball Plant - Tool Room - Tool Refurbish OperatorsManufacturing Products that Matter!As a Grind floor Machine Operator, you will produce precision bearing components that are used in aircraft engines, aircraft structures, and defense equipment used by the U.S. Military.Shifts available include:1 st(7:00am3:30pm) Five 8-hour days2 nd(3:30pm2:00am) Four 10-hour days*NB: moving to Five 8-hour days end of 20243 rd(11:30pm7:00am) Five 8-hour days.*15% Shift differential offered for 2 ndand 3 rdshifts.On a typical day as a Ball Plant / Tool Room / Tool Refurbish Machine Operator , you will:Produce quality parts based on order prioritiesComplete machine set-upsLoad materials and change tooling and attachments, as neededTrouble shoot operating difficultiesMaintain necessary paperworkPerform mathematical calculations for machine and materialsEnsure that all safety rules and regulations are followedMachine operator jobs will include using a variety of machines, as well as gauging and measuring hand tools and other related equipment.The skills that you will need Machine Operator includes:Any previous experience in manufacturing and working with machinery, is preferredIf you are an experienced machinist, 3+ years workGood communication skills and you like to work as part of a teamThe ability to diagnose machine problems and make recommendations to correct themYou can use, or can easily learn to use, a variety of specialized toolsBasic math skills and understand the metric systemRoutinely lifts and carries materials weighing up to 40lbs.In addition to good wages, we offer you:Great benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement contributions and tuition reimbursement.Career advancementPaid time offA learning environmentOvertime opportunities.NHBB is also partnered with Adecco USA with an on-site representative at our Peterborough facility.
