Ballad Health Medical Associates, a physician-led, professionally managed employed medical group, is seeking a
System Hospitalist Director for facilities in both Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
Director Profile: - 40% Administrative, 60% Clinical
- Drive, support, and model a service-oriented culture focused on physician & APP engagement, quality, patient safety, service excellence, and fiscal responsibility.
- Provide clinical support for physicians on shift.
- Supervise 6 practice locations with the assistance of Site Directors at hub facilities.
- Shadow and coach, assist with onboarding and mentoring new physicians, recruiting, and strategic planning.
- Build and maintain strong, open, collegial, and supportive relationships with other executives and hospital leaders.
- Develop cross-disciplinary clinical integration to provide a seamless patient experience.
- Support FM and IM residency programs in multiple facilities.
- Support population health management efforts.
- Provide Quality Review and Assurance, including Peer to Peer feedback.
- Place high value on clinician well-being.
