Position SummaryThe Banking Center Operations Supervisor provides high quality customer service and a positive banking experience for all customers. The Supervisor processes teller transactions, including cashing checks, receiving and processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers, daily balancing of teller drawer and other assistance as requested. The Supervisor ensures accurate and timely processing of transactions in accordance with established teller policies and procedures, and provides guidance, assistance, and approvals for tellers as necessary. The Supervisor also assists with teller work schedules, training of new or less experienced tellers, and enforcing teller policies and procedures. It is the expectation that the Supervisor meet all the requirements of the dual role of the Banking Center Operations Specialist.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Coach, review, supervise, and discipline assigned employees as needed, as well as makes effective suggestions and recommendations regarding the employment status of assigned employees. Prepare work schedules and prioritize duties. Direct the day-to-day operation activities of the Teller area including: teller balancing, ordering cash, cash vault balancing, posting deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and cashing checks. Conduct quarterly audits, including but not limited to, teller cash boxes, gift cards, and Cashier's Checks. Track the banking center's teller suspense overall total, to ensure compliance with Teller Disciplinary Guidelines. Review and approve daily general ledger entries. Operate the teller station, as necessary, and ensures balancing of teller drawers. Assist existing & potential customers with product and service inquiries. Answer questions and resolve difficult or complex problems presented by tellers or other staff. Consistently promote and cross-sell the Bank's products and services at every opportunity. Make concentrated effort to solve customer problems. Promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts, customers and potential customers.Other Responsibilities - Support and promote the Bank's Vision, Mission, Core Values, organizational structure, policies, and procedures.

- Appraising, rewarding and disciplining individual employees in a performance-driven environment.
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems of customers and employees.
- Comply with federal and state regulations as well as all established Bank policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements - High School Diploma or GED and two years of bank teller experience or a relevant field in the banking industry.
- At least six (6) months of cash handling experience.
- Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to type, use a computer efficiently, and use a 10-key calculator.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle large quantities of currency while maintaining accuracy.
- Good problem-solving skills, solid decision-making, effective communication, prioritization, and organization of work activities.
- Mental concentration is necessary for handling frequent interruptions and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Position can be mentally and physically stressful, requires standing for most of the workday, and requires lifting, carrying, or moving heavy boxes or bags of currency and coin weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as scheduled Monday through Saturday.
- Previous supervisory experience, preferred.
- Sound knowledge of general bank operations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred.
- Must be able to be physically present in the Bank to perform job duties.
