Role Summary:
Seeking experienced Banking Consulting partner to drive client opportunities, sales, and revenue for BFS clients within North America. This role demands a blend of deep domain expertise, sales acumen, and the ability to craft compelling, client-focused proposals. Need someone who is a holistic banking expert with experience in consulting-led projects in various areas of banking like retail, wealth, corporate, payments etc.
Key Responsibilities:
· 15+ years in Banking with a focus on IT solutions for banks
· Previous experience of management consultancy experience is must and experience in bank would be preferable
· Proficient in Retail Banking products (e.g., CASA accounts, Term Deposits, Mortgages, Motor Finance, Personal Loans)
· Good understanding of Corporate Banking products (e.g. Cash management, Trade Finance, Commercial Lending, Treasury etc.)
· Knowledge of traditional Core Banking systems like Temenos/Finacle/Flexcube/FIS preferable.
· Knowledge/awareness of traditional Corporate Banking systems like Finastra, nCino, Zafin, etc.
· Knowledge/awareness of Payments trends like Real-Time Payments, Digital Wallets, Open Banking ISO20022 etc.
· Should have handled large scale digital transformation projects as Lead BA/SME/Lead Consultant
· Thought leader within banking with active social media presence and authoring articles.
Consulting Skills needed:
· Expertise in developing and presenting winning proposals.
· Strong project management skills, ensuring timely and budget-compliant solution delivery.
· Sharp problem-solving skills with a strategic approach.
· Expertise in working in NA client base
· Clear, effective communicator, both written and verbal.
· Strong team player, adept at working with cross-functional teams.
· Skilled in building and sustaining strong client relationships.
· Understanding of digital enterprise architecture design approaches including MVP, patterns and principles of REST APIs, SOA and microservices architecture.
· Ability to run design workshops for new product development, roadmap, process re-design etc.
· Ability to think outside the box and influence clients to select best in class.
Educational Background:
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Required
7+ years of Management Consulting or equivalent banking industry experience in a reputed institution
Deep Banking industry functional knowledge
Preferably should have worked for a Bank for at least 3-5 years
Previous consulting and sales experience preferred
Hands on experience in different banking sub-domains like payments, cards, retail banking, transaction banking, wealth management, capital markets etc.
Ability to think outside the box and influence clients to select best in class
Awareness of the technology trends and the impact they have on banking models and operations
Great communication and presentations skills are a must
