Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionA Treasury Management Advisor markets and sells all treasury management services to upkeep and grow a commercial portfolio. Includes: preparing and presenting proposals for new business, responding to deposit and treasury management portions of request for proposals ( RFPs ) and making group presentations, as vital. May supervise treasury support employees and/or serve as back-up for support role.Entry-Level: Minimum three (3) years experienceMid-Level: Minimum five (5) years experienceAdvanced: Minimum ten (10) years experienceBelow is a list of essential job functions. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the position.PROVIDE ENHANCED CLIENT SERVICEResponsible for sales and support of services such as: deposit accounts, merchant services, business purchasing cards, On-Site Banker, and online banking, etc. Handles sophisticated commercial issues. Serves as a trusted financial advisor to provide educational development and industry updates to commercial customers. Provides treasury service training about branches and other internal partners, such as other business development officers, to schedule joint meetings with commercial customers and referral sources.FOSTER OUR CULTUREPossesses and displays a positive demeanor in managing change, working and communicating well and adhering to policies, procedures, and customer service standards. Fosters relationships with customers and businesses, community and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business. Actively participates in the community. Refers customers to Wealth Management, Commercial Lending, and Private Banking.PROMOTE DIGITAL AWARENESSWorks with commercial lending officers and community office managers to market and promote deposit products and services to commercial business customers.FOCUS ON ACCURACY AND ATTENTION TO DETAILActively promotes by uncovering and listening to customer needs. Provides an outstanding customer experience to develop, explain, and implement solutions. Maintains market awareness concerning the pricing of products in comparison with market competitors. Suggests updates/changes to Senior Management based on market trends and customer needs and recommends new products and services to maintain a driven advantage in the market.SEEK PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIESActively seeks further professional advancement opportunities and successfully completes all assigned courses. Maintains awareness of industry trends and seeks ongoing continuing education in the field of treasury management. Sufficient continuing education credits should be earned to maintain all credentials.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCETo perform this job successfully, an individual is required to perform each crucial job requirement satisfactorily. A skills inventory is below.Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university, treasury management sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credential preferred.Banking or Financial Services experience or exposure preferred.Sales experience and results oriented.Highly organized and self-motivated in a team environment or working independently.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.A background screening will be conducted. Prior experience or the ability to learn all computer programs pertinent to performing treasury management related job duties.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to seek complicated problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Representative of those that must be met by an employee to optimally perform the essential functions of this job.This position operates in a professional office environment with time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers as well as travel to clients for one-on-one meetings. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others.
